MiFinity Fees and Limits: What You Pay in 2026
MiFinity fees and limits explained: card deposits from 1.8%, SEPA free, 2.99% currency conversion, €1 inactivity fee. How verification raises your limits.
MiFinity charges nothing to hold an account, and SEPA deposits are free. Cards cost from 1.8% for deposits, currency conversion up to 2.99%, and an account you do not touch for 12 months costs €1 per month. There’s no public list of limits: they depend on your verification, and you’ll find yours in your account.
All figures below come from the MiFinity fee page and the MiFinity help centre. Fees change, so check the page before a large payment.
What do deposits cost?

Apple Pay and Google Wallet follow the card rates. The page lists more local methods, for example Estonian banks at 3.5% + €0.35.
If you can, fund by SEPA or Wero. Compared with a card, you save 1.8% on every deposit: on €500, that’s €9.
What do withdrawals cost?
| Method | Fee |
|---|---|
| Visa, EEA | €1 |
| Visa, interregional | €1.75 |
| Mastercard, EEA | €1.75 |
| Mastercard, interregional | €2 |
| Crypto | 1.8% |

The fee page does not show the price for a bank transfer withdrawal and refers to a separate schedule. Withdrawals to a bank account also need a verified bank account, with a statement from the last six months in your name.
What does sending money cost?
- Between your own MiFinity wallets: free.
- To friends and family: 1%, at most €10.
- Receiving money: free.
- Virtual IBAN, creation and upkeep: free. You need a verified account, and the IBAN is available to customers in the EEA and the UK.
How much is the currency conversion?
MiFinity adds a markup to the wholesale exchange rate: up to 2.99%. For exotic currency pairs it can be up to 3.99%. On a conversion of €1,000 that is up to €29.90, or €39.90 for exotic pairs. Keep a wallet in the currency you spend most, so you convert less often.
What are the MiFinity limits?
MiFinity publishes no table of amounts. Deposit and withdrawal limits vary with your verification status, the payment method and your country. You see your own figures under Limits in the account settings. Our old page named fixed amounts per level; we could not confirm them at the provider, so we no longer list them.
When do you have to verify?
According to the help centre, verification becomes necessary once you have transacted above €150 or the equivalent in another currency. You can verify earlier. You need:
- an ID document (passport, ID card or driving licence) with a selfie,
- proof of address, usually not older than six months. A mobile phone bill only counts if it comes bundled with home internet, TV or landline.
Higher limits come with full verification. Do it well before a larger payment, not on the day.
What does an inactive account cost?
Personal accounts are free to hold. After 12 months without a login the account counts as inactive and MiFinity deducts €1 per month from the balance. Logging in once stops the fee.
How do you pay less through eWO?
MiFinity is an eWO partner. Register through our MiFinity page and you get the bonus listed there plus fast verification, while the fees above stay the same. Check the current terms on that page before you sign up.
