Neteller Countries: Where You Can Open an Account

You can use Neteller if your country of residence appears on the sign-⁠up form. Neteller doesn’t publish a complete list of blocked countries. What is certain: it does not operate in the USA, and it takes no new accounts from India.

Which countries does Neteller serve?

According to Neteller’s help centre, the service covers every country in the “Country of residence” menu of the sign-⁠up form. For legal reasons, different companies of the Paysafe Group provide the service depending on the jurisdiction. In the EEA that is Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited.

The country list of roughly 180 entries on our old page is therefore outdated. The menu changes, and under the Terms of Use Neteller may adjust it at any time without notice.

Which countries are excluded?

Neteller has its own page for non-⁠serviced countries. Its text names one country only: “Neteller does not operate in the USA.” The Terms of Use (sections 4.1.2 and 14.3) add that the list is not exhaustive and Neteller may restrict services in further countries at any time.

For every other country, the safest check is the sign-⁠up form itself: open it and see whether your country is in the list.

Why does my sign-⁠up fail?

The help centre page Why won’t Neteller let me sign up? lists these reasons:

• You are under 18.
• Name, address or date of birth do not match your ID.
• You use a VPN or proxy. Switch it off and sign up from your normal connection.
• Business terms appear in your name or email address. Companies have a separate route.
• You already have a personal account. Normally only one is allowed.
• Your country is missing from the menu.

Always register in the country where you live and currently are. A wrong country of residence causes trouble later during verification.

Where is the Net+ Mastercard available?

The card covers fewer countries than the account. According to Neteller, the physical and virtual Net+ Mastercard is offered in:

Neteller says the list is not exhaustive. If you move to a country without the card, it is not blocked at once and works until it expires. After cancellation it is permanently deactivated, and a new one can only be ordered in a supported country.

Does the same apply to crypto?

No. The crypto services exist in about 80 countries only, including Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Australia and the United Kingdom. Crypto trading works in every listed country, withdrawals to a wallet in some of them, and deposits via BitPay in an even smaller group. The table is on the help page.

What does the eWO route add?

If your country is served, we give you up to 1.2% monthly cashback based on monthly volume, top limits from day one and the Net+ card where it is offered in your country. Cashback is paid between the 15th and the 20th for the previous month. The terms are on our Neteller page. At some merchants a lower rate applies, and we are not part of Neteller’s regular VIP programme.

If your country isn’t served, there’s no way around it. Registering with a false country of residence breaches the terms and can get the account closed. Look at another provider instead, for example Skrill.
