Skrill Serviced and Restricted Countries 2026

Skrill serves every country in the Country of residence drop-⁠down on its sign-⁠up form. It takes no new registrations from India, Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk regions or Belarus. The sign-⁠up form is what counts.

In which countries does Skrill work?

Skrill’s support page on serviced countries says it covers all countries available in the drop-⁠down of the registration form. The legal entity behind your account depends on where you live:

Which countries get no new Skrill accounts?

• India: no new registrations. Existing account holders keep their account and the payment options available to them.
• Russia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Belarus: no new registrations because of sanctions. Skrill’s notice on Russia and Belarus also restricts existing accounts. Depositing, receiving money from outside the two countries, Skrill Money Transfer and withdrawals to Russian-issued cards or Russian bank accounts are no longer possible. Paying merchants, sending to other Skrill customers, receiving from customers in your own country and withdrawing to a bank account abroad still work.
• Other countries: Skrill keeps a separate page of non-⁠serviced countries in its terms. It changes from time to time, so look at the current version instead of an old list.

The old lists on the web, including our earlier version of this page, are out of date. If a country is missing from the sign-⁠up drop-⁠down, Skrill will not serve you there.

Where can you get the Skrill Mastercard?

The Skrill Prepaid Mastercard is available in 32 countries:

Skrill says this list isn’t exhaustive and may change. You can use the card almost anywhere that accepts prepaid Mastercard. If you move to an unsupported country, the card keeps working until it expires, but you cannot order a new one. The card’s limits and fees are on our Skrill page.

Where does Skrill crypto work?

Buying and selling crypto in the account is limited to a shorter list of about 80 countries. Germany, France, Spain and Italy get the full set of features, while many countries get trading only. The crypto country list shows what is open to you.

Are there rules for gambling payments?

Payments to or from illegal gambling services are forbidden in Skrill’s terms, and Skrill can suspend the account. Whether a payment to a betting or poker site goes through also depends on local gambling rules and on how you funded the account. Skrill explains why a gambling payment can be declined: the funding method, the merchant’s own policy or a pending verification. In some countries credit cards cannot fund gambling payments at all.

Check your national law before you play. Skrill’s list of serviced countries says nothing about whether online gambling is legal where you live.
