Skrill VIP Program Changes
Today Skrill announced some major changes to their Skrill VIP Program, and we want to give you an overview of the most important changes.
Beginning on July 1st these VIP program changes will affect the calculation of the VIP status and the loyalty points system.
Skrill VIP Program – Calculation of VIP Levels
VIP levels will no longer be calculated on a rolling period of the last 90 days transactional volume to merchants.
It will be calculated on the transactional volume to merchants within the last calendar quarter.
On the 1st of July, Skrill will calculate your transactional volume to merchants between 1st April 00:01 GMT and 30th June 23:59 GMT. The volume you transact to merchants during this period will determine your VIP level for July, August & September (next quarter). Unlike now, you will be guaranteed VIP level status for a minimum of 3 months.
Skrill VIP Program – Removal of Loyalty Points
Loyalty points will no longer exist as of the 30th of June 23:59 GMT. Therefore, all members must redeem any outstanding loyalty points before the 1st of July 2016. Please ensure to redeem your points by this date, otherwise, you will lose them all.
Please note, these Skrill VIP program changes do not affect your eWallet-Optimizer bonus payments. eWO Members still earn a monthly Bonus on all their transfers from Skrill to merchants.
