Just recently Skrill and NETELLER announced their last fee increase. Beginning on the 6th of April 2017, they now announced more changes, affecting the fees for deposit options and inactive customers.

Skrill and NETELLER fee Changes - Waste moneyThe following changes affect all Skrill clients beginning on the 6th of April 2017:

  • Sofort, Giropay – increased from 1.5% to 1.9%.
  • JCB, Diners Club – increased from 1.9% to 2.25%.
  • MasterCard – increased from 2.25% to 4.95%.
  • Paysafecard – increased from 5.5% to 7.5%.

NETELLER

Most of the Skrill changes will also affect NETELLER clients. The fees for the following payment options are increased for NETELLER Users:

  • Sofort, Giropay – increased from 1.5% to 1.9%.
  • MasterCard – increased from 2.25% to 4.95%.
  • Paysafecard – increased from 5.5% to 7.5%.

Please note that currently only clients from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland , Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain and the United Kingdom are allowed to use a Paysafecard to deposit funds into your Skrill or NETELLER account.

Skrill and NETELLER Fee Changes – Inactivity fee

In general your Skrill and NETELLER accounts are free for personal use. However, if you do not login or make any transaction for a longer period of time your accounts become inactive and both providers will charge you with a service fee. Skrill will take a service fee of 2.00 EUR (or equivalent) every month if you did not use your account for more than 12 month. This fee will be increased to 3.00 EUR.

The NETELLER fee will not change. It stays at 2.00 USD (or equivalent) for every month after an inactivity period of 13 month.
